Don’t waste your time or money on these, there are faults in the plastic which cause bubbles too.
Bubbles, bubbles everywhere, and only a flimsy piece of cardboard to push them out. As you can guess, it don’t work, either leave the iPad face alone or wait for a better solution

The review by Jake claims the Apple case protects the screen and it does not, the case doesn’t even close and it flaps around if you insert it in a bag. If you want your ipad protected from screen damage then get a screen protector. However, this one was hard to put on I have huge bubbles and lots of lint that came from the supplied cloth on my iPad now.

This product is one of the thicker screen protectors not one of those ones that feels like saran wrap. Product applied to iPad screen relatively easily with very few bubbles. The bubbles that did occur were easy to remove with supplied tool. Can’t beat these screen protectors for the money.

this product is such a waste of my time i’m gonna keep the review short. it applies easy enough, but the visuals make it ugly. I’d rather have sun glare than “pixelation” due to this product. It makes the screen look like 800×600 pixels, rather than hi-res 1024×768. Not worth my time to return the product, i’m just gonna throw them in the garbage.

After a bit of effort, I managed to get the screen lined up properly and put on my ipad with few bubbles.
But I found it useless. I use my ipad as an eBook reader, and I found the quality of the display severely degraded (and unusable for reading books) after putting on the protective screen. I took it off after 5 minutes and am currently using nothing. I’m still looking for a usable protective screen.
