I got my iPad and quickly realized I’d need a skin for the back side to keep it from sliding and to protect it from scratching. I didn’t want a book style case because the whole purpose of the iPad to me was quick access. However, I didn’t want to pay $60 for a case and another $15 for a screen protector.

I decided to roll the dice with this one. Man am I glad I did. For $15 you get a great gripping and well fitting skin as well as a very good and easy to install screen protector.

I really like the look of this skin on the iPad. It seems to fit well but not overly snug.

I put the screen protector on and it looked fine, but I later removed it after reading several posts showing it really isn’t needed.

    My only concerns are…

    1. You cannot easily dock the iPad with the skin on. You either have to charge/sync with the cord (minus the dock if you have one) OR slide the skin off the bottom of the iPad for docking. I assume you cannot dock it to a keyboard either, but i just use my blue tooth keyboard from my iMac.

    2. I have a slight concern the skin may loosen up and not fit tightly on down the road. That’s just a gut feeling but I have no evidence of that.

I like this so much I am buying a second one to keep for myself or give as a gift.

    Highly recommended!

I was looking for a cheap skin to use until I find the “perfect” case, and I am very pleased with this item. It looks very nice, and the embossed pattern looks kind of classy. It’s just “grippy” enough so that my iPad won’t slip out of my hands or off the table.

It fits like a glove, but the part of the case right between the home button and the dock connector fits a little more loosely (because there is only a thin strip of plastic between the two.) I don’t think there was any way to avoid this, however, and it is not a big problem–just something to be aware of. The cut-outs for the speakers, buttons, etc. all line up nicely. I didn’t use the screen protector since I already have a really great Power Support screen protector on it.

All in all, I think this is a great deal, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a thin skin for their iPad. Shipping was very fast–only 3 days all the way to Hawaii!

I had a bad case of analysis paralysis, when looking for an iPad protector/cover. So I read the positive reviews of the iPad Clear Wave Premium Crystal Candy TPU Silicone Skin Case and decided to trust my fellow Amazon.com community and their experiences. I was not disappointed. This is a great case! The case slipped on perfectly (just make sure it’s lined up correctly.) The case has a matte finish so it is not slippery in the least and it doesn’t interfere with any function. I didn’t think I would like the design on the back, but it actually looks great. I do wish it had a stand, but for the money, this is just what the doctor ordered.

My only complaint (and the reason this review is 4/5 stars) is with the LCD Screen Guard/Protector . . . what a piece of JUNK! If you are thinking you are going to get a case + screen protector in one easy shipment, let me warn you here and now: order a different protector. I have used LCD protectors for my iPhones, iPods and MacBook and would consider myself just short of an expert in getting these things on without bubbles or dust under the cover. This protector had more bubbles than a sink full of Dawn dish detergent and no matter how many times I tried to start at the top and work down or from one side and work across, it was useless. By the time I threw up my hands in frustration, I had creased the protector six ways to Sunday and it was totally worthless. I would think plastic wrap would do a better job. My only regret is that I didn’t take pictures to post.

This case is still a great deal and I would highly recommend it. The LCD protector, well, not so much!

The skin itself is very well fitted, it’s not bulky or anything, very easy to slip on. However, the screen protector is pretty bad, even if you put a lot of effort to get all the bubble out, the surface is very bad, you can actually see the stretch marks on the screen protector. But for the money, the skin itself is worth it.

Great low profile skin. Gives just enough extra grip and extra padding so that you feel more secure handling the iPad. Very little of it shows on the front side, just a tiny little ridge all the way around. The ridge actually kind of helps with the grip. If you are handy with a utility knife it can be easily modified to dock without having to remove it. Highly recommended!!
