The quality of some the tools is poor, in particular the electronics vacuum and the soldering iron. The vacuum is completely ineffective, and the soldering iron does not get hot enough to wick solder. The flash-light is shoddy.
The rest of the stuff is of acceptable quality, although I have seen the rachet on the screw-driver break under heavy usage (a number of people at work own these kits).
You’re probably better off just buying pliers, a good screw-driver kit, tweezers, and a flashlight. A lot of the items (the soldering iron, the allen wrenches, the IC extractor) probably won’t see much use in general PC repair anyway.

Let’s face it, these aren’t high quality automotive parts, there not meant for stress. After a few years of sparingly using this toolkit. The driver magnet fell out, so bits don’t stay in place. The bits are damaged and chipped.
There are better sets out there, the wirestripper is a JOKE. Your better off buying a good quality brand name set, snapon, craftsmen, even duralast.

I overhauled my first PC not too long ago using htis kit and it had all the tools I needed. Working with the wrist attachment for grounding takes some getting used to. I wish the pliers had a longer nose since O dropped a screw in the case and could not reach them with it. The main screw driver I used is the one that looks like a pen in the photo. It felt a little cheap, but it got the job done. The set comes with some extra screws which is good bit only 4 which seems like a rather small never.
A lot if extra tools that I did not use in the set like wire cutter/stripper, allen keys, socket wrench, but I felt better having a few extra tools so I did not worry about having to run out to buy one specific tool for the job. The tools in the set also can be used around the house for other small jobs.

I was surprised by the high quality of this item. I have purchased other Belkin products in the past and have always been pleased. The case is very nice, and it has all the basic tools you need to do work on your computer. Well worth it!

I bought this to build a computer. It had everything I needed to work with. I was glad for the extra screws/hardware. I needed some for the build. Computer works great.
