A very nice portable power source at a good price.Lightweight easy carry shoulder strap.

can be used with an mp3 player as a “boom box”.

Bought it because i have to test new homes in rough construction and the only thing that i need an outlet for is a 110v fan used to test the tightness of A/C ducts in the home by depressurizing it. turned the fan on 3 times for all 3 units just fine but i only had to turn it up about a quarter of the way. So after the tests i slowly turned the fan up and the B&D unit shut down and would not come on for the rest of the day. after a full nights charge, i turned on the radio (it worked) took it to work, turned on the radio and it shut off about 2 mins later. Never held a charge since.

Not a lot of power; but adequate for small loads like cell phones and laptops. The built-in stereo is only about 10 watts, by the way. This is not a boombox.

I liked the idea of a boom box that can play from my MP3 player as well as AM/FM. Most of those others have small speakers that make the sound tinny. However, this item was damaged in shipping and I found that B&D has discontinued it. The seller was prompt with my refund.

This boom box is not worth it, do not waste your money. First of all, it claims that when the battery is fully charged, it should last 12 hours, but in reality it only lasts 3 hours! Secondly, the battery died after 3 weeks of use. I purchased this product when it was $59.95, and it was a waste. Now the price has increased, so it’s definitely not worth it more so!
