After reading some of the poor reviews of this product I decided to share my thoughts. I orderded two of these cases one for my mom and one for myself, and it turns out that one of the two has the “glue” issue. My problem with everyone bashing this product about this particular issue is that you have to understand first run products sometimes run into issues like this…get over it! There is a simple solution to this…email the company about the problem and ask if they can supply you with new bumpers! That was my first thought…..not to instantly go out and slander the otherwise beautiful high quailty product for one tiny issue the company could not have predicted! I was told via email with the head of the company that the issue had been resolved and the bumpers were now being sewed to the Velcro…and that they would ship me some new bumpers when they became available. So please to all the potential customers, give it a chance….worse case senerio you have to contact them for more bumpers….

This is hands down the best case for iPad. I would say most others agree with this statement except for those with the reported the glue problem. Prior to purchasing my iPad I emailed the manufacturer about this problem and they informed me they solved the glue issue and now ship the rubber bumpers with sewn on Velcro rather than glued on. They also said they have been shipping new bumpers to people who received the defective ones. If you are one of those who got the defective ones i suggest you contact hard candy directly. The case I received had the updated bumpers without the glue and this is clearly the perfect iPad case. It provides maximum protection and looks very cool too. My only complaint is that the inside is orange not black like the stock photos show. I am ok with the orange but would prefer black.

I’d definitely recommend this case to anyone looking for some solid protection for his/her iPad. The bumpers on the inside really make the fit snug so the iPad isn’t sliding around, and the bubbles on the outside create an extra layer of protection. I use this case with the Hard Candy Cases Street Skin for dual protection, and they’re both working great!

I find that this case has a thin cloth interior that you can almost see through, is a horrible orange color and shows dirt and lint easily. The structure of the case is great, the one I received has stitched corners without any glue and the black exterior is sharp looking. The interior is an awful change from the images on Amazon and I am really disappointed.
Here’s a quote from the description of this product: ‘The molded EVA-foam case features fitted rubber bumpers, keeping your iPad in place while you navigate its Multi-Touch display.’ I received my iPad yesterday. put it in the case, snugged the bumpers against the four corners of the iPad, picked up the case and my iPad fell out. Fortunately it fell into my lap!
I returned the case. The best thing about this case? It felt so good to return it!!

I got the hard sleeve model, same one with out the bumps. Mine came with stitched velcro bumpers and not glued. It was late in shipping because 30 days had passed, a pre-order, and had to play email/phone tag to get credit card info str8, so, maybe a newer/improved model? Email them and ask about bumper replacements if you got glued ones. About this case: I thought this case was a little pricey, but, it is well made. Did run some wax from a candle on the zipper. Waiting on the 3gs to ship, so, don’t have an iPad, yet, thanks, Apple, but, the case (hard sleeve, don’t know if this applies to the bumpy one) folds flat against the case for reading, very nice, and should give a fat book feel to it. I find the iPad too thin and tapered from playing around with one at Best Buy. It looks like it will make a stand too via of folding the front cover over the back into a stand. Also, the Apple case will not allow access to the docking station without cutting away some of the case. The Apple case I saw was too tight a fit to allow it to be removed daily. It should be easy to remove the iPad for this case to go into the docking station.
