I bought this timer intending to use the “hourglass” feature to give my son a timeframe to stay in his room (and hopefully fall asleep). I assumed – poorly – that because this was modeled after an hourglass timer (which is very quiet) it would not have a loud alarm. Unfortunately, not only does it have a loud alarm, it beeps for 60 seconds if you don’t stop it! I really wish I could turn the sound off. I’m definitely not going to use this timer for nap/quiet time.

Hasn’t anyone else caught that the product described and labeled is not the one pictures? I don’t know about anybody else but air-tight kitchen storage containers look nothing like a timer, nor vice versa, so far as I’m concerned.
I think somebody screwed up their coding and just hasn’t caught it yet.

Excellent!!! I was looking for an Hourglass that could be used to travel with for my seminars. I came across this at Amazon. Perfect! Durable, great size and quality, fits into a purse. Has clock and hourglass all in one. Runs on a single battery. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

It actually is pretty cool, I got this for my sister-in-law. I guess I didnt read the description as well as I should have…when I got it I was just rather surprised; it was pretty small.

Needed something that counts down…so, I can get up and stretch after working. This is the perfect little timer, I’m sure it down other things, but as one hour timer (counting backwards)…it’s perfect!
