Just got my full body invisible shield kit for my ipad. I ordered mine from Zagg. I’ve never used Zagg products before so I didn’t know what to expect. I have installed several types of skins on ipods and iphones so my friends come to me for installation so I do have some experience working with film protectors. The product arrived in a tube. Came with the front and back films, a spray bottle of some unknown chemical substance, and a poorly molded rubber scraper, extremely poor instructions. What they should have disclosed is that your ipad will get wet and you could run the danger of shorting out the electronics if water gets into the speakers or the holes surrounding the buttons. I watched their video on utube and it was not helpful so it did not prepare me for the the installation nightmare. I had the chemical substance all over my ipad and kitchen table. The die cuts on the shields are pretty poor so i had to rip it from the backing which caused it to stretch and not fit the area properly. Here are my complaints:
1. No disclosure that you will get your ipad wet and potentially cause damage which could cause you to void your ipad warranty.
2. Horrible instructions on how to use the tool, chemical substance and how to properly apply to an ipad.
3. Poorly manufactured rubber scraper tool. The molding on this tool is extremely poor. I showed to my friend who is a QA inspector and they were shocked at how poor the tool was molded.
4. No disclosure of the substance in the bottle. Is it hazardous to children and pets? If droplets got on the my table will it be harmful to my family?
5. the die cut of the shields to the backing is poor such that you will stretch it and it won’t fit the surface properly. Stretching will also cause the adhesive to separate from the shield leaving lumps of adhesive between the ipad and the shield. Very ugly.
Bottom line. Buy something else. I’m going to get my money back.

I am so disappointed in this product…you have to be a nasa engineer, not a moron like me, to be able to install it…after reading the instruction I just throw it in the garbage disposal…

I put the invisible Shield yesterday, there is more than 24 hours…There are a lot of bubbles trapped, they said it will disappear in 3 days, I will keep you guys posted by Friday I will know for sure…I will let you know if it really disappeared…It is very difficult to line up on the screen, very wet and kind of messy…I had difficult sliding into place, because it is not a perfect fit…I felt it was a little bit smaller than the screen…

this is ment for Laptop screens, the sensitivity level of it real bad i have to slide a few time for it to know im sliding… oo clicking would take forver just to hit the go button… i really felt i was cheated on this product… i think Amazon.com should remove such a product.. its not ment for the i pad therefore it should be here just because its the same size.. its a i pad its all about touch so make a screen protector who would detect a finger at least… not worth the money unless for a Laptop

It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to install this. WHY? Because for one, ZAGG gives you a tiny white opaque square box bottle thingy of spray with a lame spray pump system. You WILL NOT have enough spray to do both back AND front !!!! Period! Its like they want you to run out.
I got the ZAGG iPad full body kit, and got the back on fine. Then the spray ran out installing the front. This is insane.
I highly suggest going with the Skinomi TechSkin (that I used on my iPhone). Skinomi TechSkin gives you a large round clear spray bottle, enough to give several re-applications, even on an iPad. And THATS just in Skinomi’s tiny-screen iPhone kit. This is an iPad for goodness sake people… and you need lots of application spray, which ZAGG “”DOES NOT”" supply in their kit. Zagg gives you just barely enough spray to do only one side of an iPad full body. Then believe me… you “WILL” run out before applying the other side. I can not believe ZAGG does not realize an iPad is ten+ times the area of an iphone. If you are to first wet your fingers, then wet the skin, and possibly need to re-apply, well… forget it with this full body iPad kit from ZAGG. The box says “millions sold”, well not for the iPad ZAGG wont sell millions !!!
AS I said, I got the back installed, ran out of ZAGG spray, and tossed the front skin in the trash and went online and ordered the iPad front skin from Skinomi TechSkin. Skinomi TechSkin will give you a clear huge spray bottle, full, in their iPhone kit. And thats just an iPhone kit. So I know Skinomi will supply you with plenty of application spray. Heck.. I still have a half full bottle of Skinomi spray left over from my iPhone kit. I should have stuck with the Skinomi brand. Live and learn…
**UPDATE**
Zagg did admit they changed spray containers from the old tube to a box thingy. The tube they claimed leaked. But they admitted the new box design is as bad cause the spray evaporates. So the rep is sending me a new full body and plenty of xtra spray free of charge.
She also added, if you run out of spray during install, YOU CAN ADD WATER TO THE BOX SPRAYER (flip off the lid and you find a hole to fill).
Even though you are adding just water, they claim enough chemical is present or remains in the container to re-mix with the water. The zagg rep claims you can keep adding water up to three times and still get the spray mix, from residue inside the spray bottle or box thingy.
So if you also run out of spray, try adding water inside the spray container thingy. Zagg claims that works. And they admit the new box sprayer is also defective and they are getting many complaints.
